Re Memorial dated 20th January, 1919, to Secretary
of State on the subject of a Pensionable Personal
Allowance.
With reference to the interview of the 8th
ultimo, at which you informed me that it was the wish of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government that I should forward a copy of above to the Salaries Commission for any opinion which they might care to pass on it, I have to report for your information that I did so on the 10th
February.
I presume that the Chairman of the Commission
will communicate with the Government on the matter in due
course.
